Where have you been living since the it's launch ............... the moon?
This is the least loved BMW ever and with good reason because it's as ugly as sin.
Oh and btw 2010 isn't new in case you didn't know that, it's happened 2 years ago. LOL
BMW are great at inventing niche markets, it's part of the reason they have remain independent in such difficult times but not all of these end out to be great ideas and this is definitely what happened with the 5GT.

I believe BMW USA is droping the GT as sales are nonexistent for that car, and sincerely I am not surprised, who would drop $70k in a GT, it is simply ugly.
BMW's are definitely the drivers car in this segment, no doubt, and the GT could be as good as any other bimmer as far as dynamics, engine and finish but its ugly.
The A7 impacted me with its good looks and tons of technology, the rear is an acquired taste and don't get me wrong I loved loved the A5 sportback but the A7 is less congruent than the A5 sportback, but its just a matter of seeing it a bit more as the A7 has a tremendous stance.
So my answer is no, I take the A7 over the GT even if the GT is free :/

550i GT home project:

This project is still in the works, with more bits and pieces to be added, like a body kit or smoked tail lights.
