New to the Audi forums. Probably looking to buy the refreshed 2019 S7 or A7 next summer, custom build. Just wanted to know what %% off MSRP are people getting these days on the 2018 models (couldn't find any recent threads in the 7 forums)? I'll fly to the dealer offering the best %% off when I custom order next summer. Did this recently with my wifes Benz...local midwest dealer offered $500 (<1% off), a dealer in the SW offered 10%, local dealer laughed and wouldn't match. So I ordered in the SW, flew there to sign the papers and pay tax, then paid $1k to transport it to the midwest. Saved $4k+.

The discounts people are getting on the outgoing 2018 models will likely have no significance compared to the new 2019 model.

I disagree. It sets a precedent on what dealers can and will offer. 2018 models are still new and being custom delivered. If most people are getting 10%, a similar %% can be attributed to a new 2019 a year from now.

Good luck getting 10%. There is only 6% in the car to start with. You may get an under invoice deal late in the onth if there is a program that needs to be met to get a substantial bonus from Audi NA. There a conquest and loyalty prorams that can get you to higher discounts, but they are regional and are in addition to the dealer discount. There is also more incentive to move current and out oing models so they are not there when the new model arrives. Deep discounts on just released models are very unrealistic. There is no need to deep discount a product that is in demand and short in supply.
