When i lived in Vancouver, cops always pulled us over. Fine was $110

This tow hook mount tended to be the most popular solution:

It's quasi-rice, so some may still prefer to mount in the grille

I'm in Chicago, Lincoln Park to be specific. I never put the front plate on my Allroad, and as a result, I'v collected about a dozen tickets for "no front plate" at $100 each.....So, I bit the bullet and put the front plate on the A7. I hate the look, but I'm tired of donating money to the State.....

I'm in Chicago and did not have a front plate on my previous car. I got a ticket every time I got noticed by a meter maid. I decided to go against fashion wishes and put a front plate on my A7. I chose a personalized plate that came closest to matching the color of my car (And confirms that I am a concerned citizen as an organ donor...and a Chicago Bears fan ). I found a matt black plate cover with an sline badge on ebay. The plate/cover combination makes an attempt to keep the plate from standing out like a sore thumb. I'm OK with it.

And I say thank you 9'ers. Now if we can just do the same this Thursday, we'll be 2+ up on the cheese heads.

See you on Nov 19...and again in the playoffs. I hope you appreciate how well we prepared your coach when he was our QB

No doubt it looks way better than the obnoxious front plate... such a stupid law we have in WA!

Living in L.A. I never had a front plate on Jetta nor my S4. But I did get about 3 or 4 tickets total oner the years, but it only happened when they were parked out on city streets.

I'm planning on installing a Show N Go remote controlled front plate kit.

Wow! That's a hell of an idea...

Seems like a nice option for when you're parked in the city or when you see a cop on the horizon. I wonder how much it affects your clearance and how it jives with the parking sensors?
