If you think you notice a difference, it's got to be a placebo effect - the hardware simply does not exist and no way that it can change. Also check the Audi U.S. site for the feature list - there's no mention of adjustable suspension for C7 "A" series vehicles. I know. I researched this thoroughly before I got my 2013 A6 Prestige and was bummed that it wasn't included in the US as optional with the ADS package in my B8 2009 A4.
Gentlemen!

You are both right. North American import 2012/2013 A6 or A7 vehicles do not have the adjustable suspension, that option was not made available. However, enabling comfort mode on a North American model does make the ride extremely smooth and actually a lot closer to soft than stiff. Obviously that is more to do with the settings this mode invokes to the transmission and other components than the suspension, which remains the same in every setting. Nevertheless, the car feels to have a much smoother ride in comfort mode.

Sorry, ain't buying that. We've been talking ride stiffness/softness adjustments here - not gear shifts. Comfort mode may make the gear shifts smoother but will not have any effect whatsoever on the suspension and subsequent "ride". Perception, maybe, but no difference in reality. Driving on a rough road will still feel exactly the same no matter the setting because, as you said, there's no difference in suspension.
If you can point me to a written reference showing I'm wrong for U.S. 2012/2013 A6/A7's, I'll eat my words.

Good idea I checked the manual and the max load recommendation was 38/41 f/r exactly the same numbers than the door label BUT the normal load recommendation for 20's is 36 front and 32 rear, kind of weird that is lower for the rear when usually the rear psi is higher, can you please confirm your manual states the same? Other countries manuals rather than the US could confirm it is a typo of it is the correct recommendation. Thanks

The manual is correct. As the engine in an unloaded car is heavier, the PSI for front will be higher. When you max load the rear seat and trunk with passengers and gear, the weight bias moves to the rear and the PSI needs to be higher. Remember, the PSI spec for max load is not not for normal loads.
Unless I'm loaded for a long trip, I use 37 PSI front and 35 rear and it seems to be the best all around setting for ride and handling for my taste.
