I just had my 2012 A7 in for the 15K service yesterday and they put on the MMI 0715-2 update. I had requested the update but they also put it on to potentially resolve issues with side assist and brake assist.
I noticed the enhanced bass immediately on the Bose. Also, not sure if it was the update or my upgraded to IOS 7.04 but my music player is buggy when I plug the phone in directly. I have not tested with blue tooth streaming yet. the songs do not play unless I hit play from the phone. Anyone else have this issue?

If you haven't done these yet, give them a try:
Do a hard reboot on your phone while connected to the AMI cable with the car on. Also try an MMI reset (press Menu+center selector+upper right comtrol buttons briefly at the same time. After an IOS update, I've found either of these can correct weird behavior.

Is it me or does the Bose sound amazing with this new update? It's more than just base as the sound is much richer and more powerful. Quite amazing....
