Hi all, anyone have some recent experience with lease price range for an A&. I'm interested in a pretty optioned car. Who has recent experience pricing them? d

The best way to check out lease pricing is to go to Edmunds, find out what the invoice price of your car is and then ask dealer what the "capitalized cost" is. You can then negotiate this with other dealers. Also, dealer has opportunity to change money factor. A savings of $1,000 is approximately $30.00 per month on the lease cost. Looks like your paying the entire sales tax up front. In my state you pay sales tax based upon monthly lease price and then an excise tax each year. Check out the 39 month lease cost! Good luck

Thanks for such rapid and useful information. Feels like there must be some dealer incentives in here somewhere, as the pricing is very aggressive. The dealer is offering to take an A8 early which has a lease that expires in March
in exchange for a heavily optioned A7 for about $1,100. Big savings as thats a $600 diff between the A8 lease and the A7 and the dealer has to reconcile the diff.

Where are you located? Don't know about any kind of incentives on the A 7, but dealers are always looking to move cars at whatever price is necessary! If your in a cold winter area, they may want to move cars with the summer performance tires and sports suspension. You say there is a $600 per month difference between the A 7 & A 8 lease? That's a huge amount. Your paying $1700 for an A 8 lease?

Well, you may have been had then, but I'm sure it won't happen again.... I think they want your A 8 because they can sell it and make a big profit. There is a science to leasing cars, but unfortunately Audi does not offer the best leases. All that being said, there are ways to determine the best deal. Edmunds will give you car invoice, incentives available, etc. You need to determine residual which should be 52% for the A 7 with Audi care and that is based upon the MSRP of the car. Then you need to ask what the money factor is and capitalized cost. Use those figures to negotiate best price. If necessary, call a dozen dealers within 200 miles and get their best price! I've been able to order a car at invoice (dealer cost). I'm sure if you work hard enough you can do the same. Good luck!
