I bought a lighted rings logo but thought it was going to be a back-lit light. Instead the whole thing lit up like in your picture, so I didn't end up using it. I kind of like it, but not sure if I'd want it to stand out that much in the long run...

Do you know if one exists for a 2012 A7 and what it costs?

Mine is too small, but this one looks to be the right size for ~ $62: Aliexpress.com

Those rings in the link are too small. The early A7 front grill rings are 284mm X 99mm. IDK if the facelift rings are the same.

If I had those illuminated rings, I would have them on a switch so I could choose when they would be on.

Good to know. Just found a site that had replacement badges and they show the 284mm width.

Good idea. Empty switch spot on the dash would be nice.
