Default Low Inventories

A check today of online inventories of the seven Audi dealers in NC showed a total of only ten A7's with six of them at one dealership. Three dealers listed having no A7's, and none of the dealers listed any S7's!

Yeah, the dealers are getting low with certain models. My Audi dealer has only a few Q5's left, and no A7's.
The new models can't arrive soon enough for me.

I know how you feel, these cars are very much in demand, and there isnt a lot of inventory to support that. Hopefully as the 2014's roll out, you will start to see some relief...

I too was looking in Florida. I initially was going to wait for the TDI for mpg reasons but then decided based on the estimated cost issue and total # miles per year that I drive that it would likely take 6-7 years to recoup the price increase fuel/engine costs so I had to order what I wanted (2014 model) and found out that my car will be in production 5/22 and arrive sometime towards the end of June or in about 7 weeks.

I wouldn't say there is a huge demand, otherwise we would all pay a premium for the cars. It's probably due to low production numbers. I looked back at the 2012 production numbers for the a6 and a7. I was surprised. Don't quote me, but the US received only ~8500 A7s and ~25000 A6s. Compared to the production number of other cars that are in the 100,000+ range. Heck, let's keep the production low, it's better for all of our resale values. . Supply vs demand.
Besides, I'm glad every time I pull into a parking lot, there aren't several other people with the same car as me. That's one of the main reasons I bought my A7.
