Default Map in the instrument cluster

Hi

Is it possible to get the map view in the instrument cluster on pre-facelift Audi A7?

Thanks

No, it only shows the arrows and distance graph for upcoming turns.

I know that. But is there a way of upgrading/enable this.

Sure there is. You could spend multiple thousands of dollars to gut your DIS and MMI and replace with new facelift modules, graphics controllers, displays, wiring, coding and labor.

I was able to do it. I traded my 2015 for a 2016. Got some other stuff along with the map display

And it was probably a lesser difference in expense than upgrading the 2015's DIS and MMI. Plus no install issues to deal with. And you got some other stuff.

Not sure what you mean. What ever is on the screen when you turn it off is on the screen when you restart it. Just as my 2015 was.

Right. What I mean is when I start my 2016, the digital speedometer is what is displayed. Id rather have the new navigation feature displayed as default. Is that a possibility?
