MIL light on after JUST 200 miles. I am taking it into the dealer tomorrow. Anyone else having the same problems? The manual says it could be the gas cap, but I checked it, and it's on securely. Any ideas?

Without a VCDS cable to pull off the exact code, it's really hard to say. At 22,000 miles I had my A4 Prestige throw a MIL and it ended up with a replacement of the EVAP Leak Detection Pump.
But the good news is you are under warranty. Sometimes things like this happen. Even in super reliable cars. I don't think there's any reason yet to assume your car is faulty or unreliable from a single event -- that's why warranties exist

had the same problem on my 2012 A6 after 500 miles.
my problem was a bad fuel pressure sensor
since these 2 cars are pretty much the same, i think thats the problem.
i thought it was my gas cap too, took it to the dealers and they replace the sensor for me, now at 1500 miles, no issues.

It turns out the Vapor sensor was a German part, and the oxygenated American fuel was causing a false alarm. They are keeping the A7 for a week, while they do tests and wait for the right part. Kind of a bummer, but it's good to know it's nothing serious.

after 3 trips to fix the "problem" and replacing almost all the parts, it was a warped gas filler surround that was pushing the gas cap up enough to set the code. Part was replaced following a 3 day wait for arrival from Germany. Only problem I've had in 16000 miles.

What was the "problem?"
