Default Plastidipping one of my mirrors

Thanks to the greatest photographer of all time, I am plastidipping one of my mirrors this morning to see how it turns out. Basically, I am just "painting" the bottom half of the mirror housing black, unlike what was previously done on a different A7.

High quality photos will follow once everything is dried and cleaned.

Ok, here you go.

My thoughts:

As you can see, there are a few rips here and there from the edges, but you get the idea. I don't think doing a two-tone mirror works very well on this car. It "cheapens" the car. If it was carbon fiber then it might be a little better.

Conclusion:

It's time to rip it off. Maybe I will try to plastidip the rear emblems. LOL.

Also, for those who hate the orange reflectors on the front bumper. If you have a white A7, then you can plastidip the reflectors using the white can and that should work well. Or plastidtip black if you have a black A7.

LOL!

Aquarian,
Thanks for sharing and trying it - can't say it does much for the looks either, but sometimes a small customization can go a long way, and you never really know 'til you try.

Exactly. Plastidip is a cheap way to make a cheap difference.

It's not bad but it's too much and too black.

I would think silver or a lighter gray would look a lot better.
