Rear view camera moves up and down???

Hello I was watching this video and it came to my attention the camera moves up and down, how do you do it? (go to 1:50s)

He just opened and closed the rear hatch. The camera moves with it,

Really? It didnt look like it went that high so I thought there was a way to control the camera just like you control a side mirror, but it makes sense.
