That's correct. The TPMS in our cars gets its signals from the ABS. No other wheel sensors are used. You should probably reset the tire pressures in the MMI after your winter tires and wheels are on. Just had mine swapped yesterday. It's unseasonably cold in Chicago this week.

I ended up getting the dealer I bought my car at to match the $2,600 price for the 19 inch snow package. Should arrive later this week.
Unfortunately, weather has been in 20's here the last few mornings, and I really want to get these summer tires out of the cold.

Good luck with them! No matter what anybody says about different brands you'll get much better traction then either all seasons and most definitely your summer tires.
I'm getting my Tire Rack 18 inch Snow set up put on tomorrow - I will post some pics.
