Some photos of ambient lighting
I played around with my dslr to show you that the ambient lighting is whitish, not blueish as some have mentioned. Enjoy!

Loooooooove it!!!!! Thanks so much for posting. I don't mind the whiteish hue. It looks good to me either way. Its much more noticeable to me than I thought it would be!

Nice shots...
I think your beige interior is contributing to the hue.
Against black, the LED ambient lighting looks like the typical white with a hint of blue (like your door sill picture). With the non-LED version, it looks more yellow like normal interior lighting.

CharlieSlasher, according to the manual, one can select a "color scheme" for the ambient lighting. This option is not available in the US, so it must be available somewhere else. The only thing that I can select is the brightness of the ambient lighting. So, that clears up some confusion why you would think the ambient lighting was a different color.

It's not that I think it's a different color, it's white.
What I'm referring to is the "hue" or "color temperature". The LED lighting is white, but it is "cooler" meaning it has a blueish tint. I dont mean to imply at all that it looks blue.
It's the same difference in the white of LED headlights vs the white of a halogen bulb. Same as bulbs for your home (soft white vs bright white).
It is more noticeable on the black interior. I think the beige interior you have makes it less obvious.

Aquarian, any possible way you could get a video or some photos of the interior at nighttime?
I'm curious if it looks like this (scroll to 4:25):
