Default Took my wheels off to clean and wax the wheels

Decided to take my wheels off and clean them inside out. Pressure washed them and applied wheel polish/dressing. Hopefully that will prevent excessive brake dust from building up. Also took a couple of photos of the H&R springs.

Used http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/...res+%26+Wheels

which was a sample when I got my old wheels for my old RL a few years back. Finally put that thing to use.

Now that's a clean wheel!

How do you like those tires?

Looks like it would be pretty easy to add a spring rubber in the left rear or right front to tighten up the car in the corners (assuming you only make left hand turns)

you should have used iron x to remove all metal particles and then applied blackfire diamond.

Excellent tires. Awesome in snow, rain, and dry. Highly recommended. Those will be my next set of tires if I ever need to replace or for my future cars.

Aquarian,
It would be great if you could post some pics as you get miles on the clean wheels, as well as report on how they are to keep clean. I'm still trying to find a solution to the massive brake dust short of changing pads. The Armor All Wheel Protectant works pretty well, but the wheels are not "hose off" easy, which they might be with the Griot's sealant.

The brake pads that came on my 2007 Lexus had horrible dust build up issues.
When I took it in for it's 5K checkup they changed them to something else.
I've been running dust free for 5 years on those with no squeeking and no loss of performance.
I'll try to find out what they put on.

The Armor All has a good reputation and great reviews. I was hoping to use that when I took my wheels off so I can apply it to the entire wheel - including the inside.

I just happened to have the Griot's around so that's why I used it. I will try to post some photos after a few weeks and see how they hold up.

The F-Sport option came a couple years after my car but all
the F-Sport parts available fit Lexus IS 250&350 2006-now.
The no dust brake pads I got were before F-Sport parts came into play.
I did add the F-Sport exhaust last year, very impressed.
As much as I have enjoyed my IS350 I sure wish my A7 would hurry up and get here.
