So it's been about 6 months and my Google Maps still works, but not the other data connections. I do see the 3G icon and there is still signal on the bottom right of the screen. I thought the trial period was only 3 months?

Audi connect (T Mobile) trial is 6 months. Sirrius (traffic) is for 3 months.
