What do you guys think about these vs the "stock" 20" rims:

Seems these are 265 37 20
Will it make a big difference? Will they fit?

Thanks for your input Ray. I'm really liking that particular design vs the "stock" 20" rim. Is there anyway I can tell if these will rub before ordering them? Thanks!

no way to tell, it won't rub all the time, it MIGHT rub when you go over larger bumps or your suspension compresses more. like i said i'm running a larger than stock tire size in addition to spacers and i feel like i'm not even pushing the envelope in wheel fitment. on all the car i have and have owned in the past, i've alwasy rolled fenders and ran super aggressive offsets, i know with what i'm running now i feel like with a fender roll and pull i could squeeze another 10mm offset or spacing

No issues at all. Confirmed the speedo is spot on. ACC works fine no issues. Check out this pic to get a sense of wheel gap. As noted by other posters, it's essentially the same as my 19's

First off, thanks EVERYONE for your help. I think I've decided that if I'm going to spend some $ on rims, I may as well go aftermarket, and what better set than the Vossen CV7?? I just have a few questions:
1) 20x9 or 20x10.5
2) What size tire to go with if I don't want to lower my car?
3) Any input on how these will look without the car being lowered?
Thanks!

the most important thing in wheel fitment is offset, so without telling us what offset it's hard to answer your question,
Secondly is how much work are you willing to do to get it to fit(rolling and pulling),
lastly do you want an aggressive fitment where the wheels sit flush with the fenders for a wide aggressive look or do you want something to look like stock, inset into the fenderwell?
tire size isn't as important as offset, some people like a stretched look i.e. putting a narrower tire on a wider rim so the sidwalls are angled in towards the center of the tire and other like a meaty fitment. either way once you determine what offset then you can determine tire size. offsets are usually available in only a few different ones so you first need to address the first two things i mentioned then pick offset and lastly tire size. if you can't find the offset you want you could always run spacers but that's added cost on top of already new wheels i'd just find wheels that fit to begin with. more homework needs to be done

Trying to keep the stock look. Been doing a lot of research and going back and forth between some OEM rims and some aftermarket. The ones that keep drawing me back are 20x9 ET 26. They're OEM 5 spoke RS5 wheels. Thoughts?

i'm personally not a huge fan of the 5 spoke rs5 wheels on an a7, too bulky for the sleek lines of the a7, i rather more spokes that are skinnier, but that's only opinion. fitment wise they'll fit fine, they won't be really aggressive looking but will sit further out than the stock 20's. with a +26 i'd run another 5mm spacer, but then that defeats paying for aftermarket wheels and then paying fore for spacers and lug bolts. but to each his own. fit wise you'll be fine with those wheels and 265/35/20(stock tire size) or a 275/35/20( looks a bit meatier, which i prefer and run)

Just pulled the trigger on the OEM RS5 rims. Found these pics and couldn't resist. I won't be lowering my car but I still think the setup will look decent. Gonna go for those 275 35 20 as Ray has suggested. Pics soon! ;p
