Thanks. Bought the car at auction so sight unseen. Why would someone do that to callipers? And I assume it's something that gets done at a shop not with a can in the back yard! I hope!!!!

some people have a hard time with people making mods to their A7. I doubt it is spray paint. if so it will begin to flake soon. there are very high end caliper paints out there. i know because i did this mod to mine. i like the way it looks especially better at hidding all the brake dust the A7 creates. to each his own.

I've been spraying my DD calipers for years. I use Krylon glossy black and freshen them each spring when the summer tires go on. Never had a flaking problem. Usually there's a few rock chips from winter driving.

Okay, just got the car today. Not detailed, but pretty clean. Here a some more pics, looks like they are not just spray painted. Anyone know more about these s line calipers? Thanks. Im glad they look great, what a surprise having bought the car sight unseen! The car is amazing! Such a better experience than my last 5series, this is what that car should have been!

Congrats on the car.

They look to me like the stock calipers panted in red and added the S-line decal to it.
