A7 lift gate issue
#11
Hi Everyone,
Just joined, picked up a '19 A7 Prestige to replace my '12 A6 Prestige.
Car has this issue with the lift gate stuttering, it's unfortunately out of warranty now and needs new struts/motors.
I was able to get the power struts and was hoping to replace myself, however the connector is buried (pictured on the replacement) and I couldn't tell what to remove to get to it. Has anyone done this themselves and/or know what trim piece(s) to pull from the interior to access the connector?
Appreciate any help anyone might be able to give me on this!

I'm having a similar issue. Does Drive Units = Tailgate Lift Motor / entire strut? Any part numbers would be helpful.
