Faint popping/static noises from the sound system

I've been to two dealers. Both knew about update coming Q1 of 2022.
First dealer seemed to think that this issue was being addressed in this update and therefore couldn't try anything else. This dealer in my book lacks credibility on a lot of issues. Second dealer said this wouldn't be addressed in forthcoming update and therefore they could try replacing the amp.
I'd like them to try:
- replacing the mmi
- running power to amp from an external source to determine if it's the powerline to the amp that there is an issue with.
- try to replace amp with a known good amp from another vehicle with the same amp.
- confirm that this isn't an issue in the higher end BnO system.

Hi cameraguy64 and all,
Any chance you have some updates? I got a loaner of the same model/year and the issue on the loaner is much less noticeable. I still hear the faint static but I really have to really listen for it... it's night and day difference compared to my car even though. I probably would have never noticed it.
I asked this different dealership to check it out during my 10k service. Fingers crossed they put some actual time in to diagnosis, but I don't have high hopes.
I took a picture of the software versions so I can compare when I go to pick my car up.

That sucks! I tried different settings to no avail. Turning off 3d sound seems to help a little bit but then it defeats the purpose of the B&O sound system. My Mazda 6 does not even have this issue...

Do the VCDS scan and keep ears open for sounds it does via speakers when going through modules.
I've heard Gateway scan which may do the popping noise. Not sure what is the real issue behind it, but maybe module itself is defective or issues with cable connections/grounding not good.
