Default Fumoto is really nice but as PK says - beware the clearance. On my urS6

definitely. On the //S8, no way. They run a little north of $20.

Default Every 8k (miles). It is Mobil-1, 8 quarts, no turbo...more is a waste for me...

Of course my driving is mostly rural intestate. I prolly wouldn't go 8k of city driving.

Default There is the belly pan

They won't put it back in place correctly, but heck, I would put it up on Rhino ramps, take it off, bring it over, and have them change the oil.

On my 97, I brought it to Jiffy lube, they stripped the drain bolt, and next time it took me about 30 minutes to break it loose then I needed to replace it.

You wouldn't think something like that would happen, but it can.

Default I think your qualification of driving type is key when determining interval.

As well as is time. I do every 6 months as I drive less than 5K in that period.

Default

There's too much soft aluminum on these cars that Jiffy Dude can mess up.

Default Fur sure. I do 8k highway miles in about 4 months...

Sometimes the only stop is at tolls and border crossings. And Duty Free ;-)

Default Read thru this thread - alot of bad experiences with these places, including me. Cross threaded...

...the drain plug in my ///M5, leaked whole way home. Nice.

Put snows in my trunk of my 2.3-16 and shut the trunk hinges on them and wonked the lid alignment so it wouldn't latch.

Busted the hood pull "handle" in the grille of my 300E.

The list goes on and on and on. This is at THREE DIFFERENT PLACES. I was in the same boat as you - too many cars too much disposal / mess, etc.

Guess what? DIY.

Sorry 8-(.
