I lost reverse last week and my head is spinning trying to sort this out. I understand that it is an F seal at the root of the problem. I live in Charlotte, NC and can only find 1 shop with ZF experience. He will only do a rebuild and gave me an estimate of $ 3500 without seeing the car. Then again he isn't sure which model ZF I have. Can someone help me with the model number and any other specifics they can think of? I have been searching the threads but I think I am suffering from information overload.

I've seen/heard only one pre facelift clutch F failure.
