They are a soft-ish mellow pad with good cold grab and minimal dust. Seem to be easy on rotors. The tan dust seems to be less sticky and reactive than most, too. Not very squeaky. They are my choice for easy, around town driving. I currently have them on 2 and one half of four cars, and will keep using them.
They are not bad-*** hi performance pads but those pads have some negative characteristics for daily use.

I just washed the wheels. I have always been a fan but never used them on a silver/aluminium wheel where the dust is so obvious. Not a peep either which has always been the case.
