Me again- Like a moron and used to older cars I filled up my car after picking it up and left it running. Threw CEL. VAG'd 16826 & 16839, EVAP Emission Control - Small Leak / Large Leak.
I cleared them, came back 2 days later. Repeat that, came back again next day or so. Cleared itself this time, and just came back on today, happened while sitting @ idle (as I was gawking at the Valdez spot it left from the night before) after a long hard triple digit run.
My poor betrayed UrS is exacting its revenge... and seeming so simplistic suddenly. Ugh.
Thoughts? Thanks. Sorry for the barrage of NOOB Q's... I promise to post more Baloneyesque 'fun' posts, no really I do...

A fuel pump gasket leaks, which eventually trips a CEL when the gas tank can't hold a vacuum. Mine developed the leak and was repaired before I even received the recall notice, but perhaps yours never had the new gasket installed.

I'll have me another audipages surf.
Will check gas cap as well. I *did* get a trace fuel smell once but was hoping it wasn't me (blame white elephants)...
Tx again guyz.

...whilst I was veinly stopping in to try and get them intake runner actuation valve connectors). Said it could be the o-ring to the top of the sender unit plate. If it's leaking it'll have some grime around it and trips the CEL.
I'll pull back the carpet and have me a looksee I guess.
I assume this is the gasket to which you referred Randy?
Tx again.
Such a short ownership - such a noob w/ so many Q's...
