Dealer says cable is not from the car, the fuel tank has been punctured and the cost is @ 3k to replace tank and remove rear axle assembly. Wow. Time to make the first ins. claim. Unbelievable.

>>What does the Ebrake cable look like?
Like any other cable, pretty much.
>>does it run the length of the car under the driver side?
Yes. There's a cable-like item to the outboard of the twin e-brake cables, that I'm still trying to ID. So there's this single "cable" about 4" in, then 2"-3" further inboard, you've got the pair of e-brake cables. From your pic, it looked like one of the pair that got nailed.
>>are there twin cables?
Yes.
>>which side of the car is the fuel tank located?
Both sides, the tank straddles the center diff and driveshaft.

lift? i'm going to take a trip to the dealer tonight and ask him to show me. Is there one cable on each side or are they both together in the middle or both together on one side?
Thanks.
Thanks.

That cable is so buried under the covers, that even if it breaks, it should stay in it's place.
