My car is a month old. I purchased the Motorola V60I phone from Audi and the cradle was on my car when I picked it up. I waited until today to activate the Motorola V60 phone so that I could transfer a number because today is the first day of number portability. Anyway, I activated the V60 and it works fine. However when I put it in my cradle and then called the new cell number only the V60 rang and not the integrated phone ring like I'm used to with the built in Onstar phone. When I hit the button on the steering wheel all I got was the onstar lady asking me if I wanted to make a call--I could not answer the ringing V60. Obviously something is not working correctly. According to my owners manual if you have the V60 in the cradle that should take precedence and calls would go through that, vice the built in Onstar phone. Help!!

There is a little plug in the back of the phone that has to be removed for the V60 to work in the cradle. Additionally, I have noticed that the phone has to be perfectly seated in the cradle to be recognized. I have had intermittent problems, but can generally get the phone to work properly by pressing the phone into the cradle a little harder - particularly pushing the phone a little harder towards the rear of the car. Hope this helps.

THANK YOU !!! That worked. Its working fine now. I have found out that almost any question can be answered on the forum. I'm glad I didn't go to my dealer for something so simple.
