10,700 miles on the car - just got it back from dealer for 10,000 mile service. So far the car has had few problems. Given many of the posts on this forum I feel quite fortunate. This is an extraordinarily fun car to drive.
A few minor issues I asked the service shop to check out:
1. The right side mirror points down while in reverse (as designed) however, on occasion the mirror does not return, or only partially returns to the previous position when traveling forward.
2. On a few occasions the remote control would not unlock the car - had to manually unlock the car with the key in the door.
3. On a couple of occasions the trunk seemed to need some fresh air - I would find it open in the middle of the day in the parking lot.
The dealer was unable to find any problems causing these minor problems. I have seen these same issues posted by others on this forum.
Question - has anyone found the cause and a fix for any of these intermittent issues?
Otherwise, great car - knock on wood!!!

They can't "verify" these problems. I'm scared to leave my golf clubs in the trunk - one of these days they'll be gone when the trunk pops open.
The dealer did fix my otherwise non-functioning trunk today - the car had 5100 miles when they picked it up last week. They brought it back, took it back and returned today; now has 5730 miles. What a waste.
