When I open the passenger side rear door, a light comes on under the rear of the front passenger seat and the bottom of that rear door. When I open the driver side rear door, neither of these lights on that side comes on. I can't find anything in the owner's manual that describes how to turn these on or off. Is there a way to turn these on?

I suspect they're burned out, if they don't come on. That, or there's a bad wire somewhere.

My rear doors do not trip the interior light circuit. You can tell if it's the switch in the circuit by turning your car on, then opening the rear door with the car in drive (just put the parking brake on) and see if the center console has the rear door open icon on. If not, it's the switch in the door, it's an intergal part of the insides of the door. Do a search on it if you'd like to see more, I know I've posted pictures before.

A lot of people have this problem.
