Speaking of impressing the members at the club hits it right on the head. The "Bimmer factor" is noticeable at "the club". I think there's a "slight" arrogance that goes along with the BMW series that doesn't seem to prevail among the Audi owners.
I am amused at people that don't seem to have any idea at what is under the skin of the Audi and the performance, quality, luxury and responsivenes of the car. People in general just don't seem to know much about Audi's and what they represent in terms of "bang for the buck" in a luxury vehicle. Sometimes I wonder if Audi is trying to keep their product a secret.
Found an interesting article in the current issue of Business Week about the concerns of the Lexus line and where they are headed in comparison to the European luxury cars. Seems that Toyota/Lexus is experiencing some burnout competing with the European car manufacturers and are tinkering at redesigning their image.
Interesting!
