SInce the transmission from the 2001 has a different code the wiring harness is differest. Will it still be able to work in a 2000. I tried both TCM's nothing yet. any one completed a tranny swap

I installed a 2001 A8L transmission in my 2000 Audi A8L. The transmission does not go into gear. I have both TCM's no luck. The harness is not different going to the valve body. The harness that is different is the Multifunction Transmission Range TR switch-F125. The problem I had with the old tranny was that it did not shift into any gears not even safe mode. The trans fluid was black/brown so I removed the tranny and torque converter. Same problem. Further dioagnotics, I unhooked the pressure line, no fluid pressure. This car has a electronic pressure controlled , Pressure control valve, in the valve body, to be exact 4 of them. I will be checking the electrical connection to each pressure control valve, and leave the results here.
