I have had my S8 for about 3 weeks now but am still waiting for the handbook for it. Can someone help me out with a couple of questions. Firstly does anyone have any idea what the little round button just forward of the steering wheel adjustment button does? Secondly I have a Nokia GSM phone installed which I suspect is a factory installation. The hands free function works fine but is there an alternative way of answering the phone rather than opening the passenger armrest and pressing the appropriate button on the phone?

That button is a switch that can be pressed in and out....in one position it will retract the steering wheel when the ignition key is pulled, once you get back in it will put it back where it was....in the other position, it just leaves it where it is during normal driving.

Somewhere in the depths of the phone menu (probably Settings -> Car Kit), there should be a way You can set the phone to answer calls automatically if attached in the cradle. I don't have the Nokia myself, but an older Version of a Bosch mobile (it used to be the Audi OEM mobile in Germany for the pre facelift models) which has the above mentioned automatic answering func.
