2002 S8 factory warranty expiring

2002 S8 factory warranty expiring
Have appt with dealer next week to have final check-up.Car has only 23K miles. Any issues to bring up? Also, this is the car that has the surging under light throttle at l900 rpm, which I now notice happens in 2nd 3nd and 5th gear. Someone suggested the O2 sensor, someone the torque converter lock-up. Does this coverter lock up in any gear but 5th, because if thats the case I can eliminate the transmission since the surge happens in lower gears as well.

Make sure they fix it!
If you read this board for a while, you'll figure a lot of things out.
If your car has only 23K miles, I'm gonna say no need to replace the O2 sensors.....and I was the one that suggested it!
Spend some time searching here to see what the real problem is and then post....get it fixed before out of warranty.
Most A8/S8 problems have been well documented here.

I thought so too but I have 43xxx and I called the dealer they said that it was NOT covered
maybe cause its a 2000, but they told me that It was the cats for 8/80,000 and the MAF for 7/70,000.
If it is covered that makes me kinda mad
