I have a 2002 S8 in which the AM/FM reception appears to have totally gone from the NavPlus unit. Once every two hours it picks up a signal for a few seconds, but then nothing. TV and GPS is fine.

Any pointers what I should be looking at here?

the back seat and if someone push the seat too hard (insert jokes here) it cracks the soldering in the amp. It is on the driver's side behind the seat back on the C pillar.

Thanks. I do have a code 00856 - Radio Ant Open Circuit, so I'll have to see if I can find out how to get in there. I guess that it will be passanger side for a UK car.

So far I've had the seats out and found the diversity box (4D0 053 530 D) in beside the seat, if I fiddle with the aerial wire going into it it does make the static sound different, but that's it.

I cannot find another amplifier in there certainly nothing that looks like the part in ebay item (370142357572). Where would I find this? I've looked in around the CD changer, but nothing there only the wire going to the GPS aerial.

I do, by the way, have perfect TV reception.

Any further help on this would be appreciated.
