Does anyone know for sure whether or not any 2003 S8's were imported with the D3 platform? According to the local dealer there was a VIN split in ~11/02 where the VIN changed from "4D" (the D2 platform) to "4E", the D3 platform. I have read other threads here that state that in all of 2003, only 300 S8's were imported: 100 silver, 100 black and 100 ming blue. If true, were these all D2's or were there any D3's? AOA has been unable (or unwilling???) to verify this or my first question.
