They're BBS. I don't know the offset, but they were offset to fit my 2001 A8L. I guess my question is, are the offsets the same for the 2001 and the 2004?

Not necessarily. Sometimes shims are used to make up any difference. If you have differing circumferences, your 04 will have to be recalibrated but that is not a major issue. Check with your local Audi dealer for the offsets although I am sure someone on this board will know. This is an amazing place!
