I didn't see this posted before, but here is the options list for the 2004 A8L as provided to the press at the Detroit show.

Audi S5 TC

the advanced key, radar adaptive cruise control, PAX system and xenon adaptive cornering lights will become available for 2005 with the introduction of the new A8L 6.0 (first time ever in North America), new A8 4.2, new S8 and new A6. Don't know for sure that these options will become available for 2005. I am just hoping that they will. Hence the use of the word hopefully. BTW, does the full size spare tire have a matching alloy wheel or a steel wheel? I would think alloy but I don't know for sure.

approved for the U.S., my source told me that it WILL NOT come to the U.S. b/c its radar messes with the police radar, so it was banned by the U.S. government. Also the side shades will be powered, as is the back.

Audi S5 TC

Will those options become available in North America for 2005? Some sources (including a few AW members) say yes. Let's hope so.

sport suspension will, I think the 4 spoke is coming with the tip paddle, the voice recognition might not but Audi may be pressured into it in this segment, and the power door close might come standard on the 6.0 W12 later this year or next year. I think the Trunk open/close is a delayed intro too

Audi S5 TC

My guess it that the PAX system will most likely become available for 2005, given it's benefits and sophistication. As for advanced key, I feel that this option would be somewhat popular when it is offered here, whenever that is. MB already offers their advanced key system on the S Class and E Class. Hopefully, Audi's advanced key will become available on the new A8/A8L, new S8 and new A6 for 2005. I guess many North Americans (including myself) will just have to keep their fingers crossed.
