2004 A8's in stock
I was just at the Audi dealer here in Indy. I was giving them some crap about the delayed shipments of A8's etc and they said they have alreday sold and delivered 4 of them. They even have "a couple" in stock.
I saw one of them, words cannot describe that car.
If you want to call it is Tom Wood Audi on 96th Street in Indianapolis.

Re: 2004 A8's in stock
The one I saw was standard Audi silver, dark gray leather, I think 18" wheels that dont look very different from the previous A8. The one I saw has all the navigation, cooled seats, etc. Loaded. I believe the other one is a darker silver color.
Apparently they got a couple "extras" and more on "the way".
Their number is 317-848-7447 I just called to verify the info and spoke to Tom in Audi sales.

Well greenie, the Audi silver is an awesome color, we all know that...BUT I must say the car was stunning. I was on the floor with Volvos, a few 911's and some other Audi's and it stole the show.
I knew it was an impressive car from the pictures but I didnt get the full effect until I sat in it, got a whiff of that "New Audi Smell" and observed the interior...which puts on quite a show of its own.
Lots of companies make nice cars but this new A8L cannot be described as "nice", it is an A8L, there must be a better word. Classy & flashy, without being flashy, definately not tacky, an engineering marvel...brilliant.

Clong, no matter how sure I think I am in terms of color choice for my cars, I always have that nagging voice in the back of my head asking "Could you have chosen a better color"! Personally, I like the car in the lighter colors because it makes it look, well, almost regal! I have yet to see the black interior but I guess it should look good. This is my FIRST Audi and I cant wait!

YOUR FIRST AUDI ??
There is no way a first Audi owner can should be able to go buy a new A8. There is something wrong with that, it should be illegal or something. Regardless, congratulations. You cant go wrong with silver.
Doesnt Ferrari have some rule that you can only get a F50 after previously owning another Ferrari??
I will try to sneak over there tomorrow and take some pics for you.
Here is my list:
1984 5000 - silver (retired)
1987 5000S - silver (retired)
1992 100S - Gray (retired)
1995 A6 - Cashmere (great machine, retired)
1997 Cabriolet - red (bought online and returned to seller)
1997 A8 - black (totalled)
1997 A8 - silver (in service)
2001 TT - black (in service)

Re: YOUR FIRST AUDI ??
Clong, if there is a law like that, I am not familiar with it! LOL! Speaking of Ferrari, I had a chance at a 1985 Testerrosa(single side mirror) and passed on it for the reliability of a 2000 Corvette Roadster. Can you imagine? Oh well, this forum has given me great insight into the Audi badge and I am very excited about the A8L. This A8L was almost a 2004 E350 but fortunately for me that little voice in the back of my head and wise words from MB Defector set me on the straight and narrow!
