'97 A8 quattro trans. pan gasket
Are there different gaskets for the non-tip '97 model? I have read here in the past referrals to different trans. on a '97. Is there 1 part number that fits all '97 quattro A8's?

I think all the pans are the same
But the filters are different for the first revision of trannies.
If you have a 3.7 FWD, I think it has a different tranny, but I'm not sure. I do know it has the shorter gears.

'97-'99 Trans pan gasket the same for all P/N 01L325429. Strainer (filter) is different for.....
'97 early VIN (up to 001891) P/N 01L325429 and later VIN (001892 and up) P/N 01L325429A. Be sure to get the correct strainer because they are NOT interchangable.
