97 A8 stalling dilemma update #4
No longer a dilemma! I can confidently say that my fuel pump is fixed after 8 weeks of the car sitting.
Re-cap: Car stalled, got a engine speed sensor code.
Cleaned sensor----no start.
New fuel pump relay----no start.
New ignition switch----no start.
Checked power to the pump----was power, but pump not working.
Bought new pump($538).
Two weeks ago, I successfully installed the new fuel pump, and then after starting the car, had a misfire in cylinder one, replaced the ignition coil, and now the car works great. I took some pictures of the procedure, then got a little scared of taking pictures once I had the old fuel pump out. Thought that the flash might blow up my car somehow. Thanks to everyone that helped, and to Always overcharged for providing me with the great instructions. It's soooo nice to be driving the car again, what a great ride. Overall, it is really not a hard job, just a fiddly one. It took at least a dozen attempts to get the new fuel pump seated correctly. If I had to do it again, it would only take me about 1-2 hours.

Re: do you have any pics? This procedure is a little bit of a black hole (at least visually)
I have some pics of the begining of the procedure, and I have pics of the fuel pump. I'll try to get some pics posted.
