'98 A8
Hey guys, I'm coming here from the A4 forum. A friend of mine just called and left a message that his dad is looking at a '98 A8. He left no other information about the car, so that is all I know (ie - mileage, maintenance, etc.)
What items should he look out for. I know with A4's, problem areas are control arms, timing belt (every 60k with 1.8T), wheel bearings, and missing pixels on trip display, plus a bunch of other small items.
What things should he look out for given that this car may have 90-100k miles. What problem areas are there.
