A8 - Auxiliary Fan Overheating Problem

1997 A8 - Electric auxiliary fan not running. Wiring diagram from Bentley CD says relay that controls this is in drivers footwell. I cannot find! Anyone know where this relay is hidden as the manual is of no help.

unscrew to remove the chunk of carpet to the right of where your feet go, forward of the door opening.
Beneath that carpet, there's a wiring block that has a bunch of relays in it.

You guys are great - I had removed the carpeting screw but only found fuse box. The picture enticed me to remove the chipboard in footwell and underneath are relays. All I have to do now is find out how to test the one that controls the auxiliary fan.
