Having just purchased a '99 A8, I went to the audiusa website and dutifully orderd a CD/ROM repair manual, for about $125, delivered.

I got a call from Bently pub's; it won't be ready until early next year. The good news is that they will add some PC search and index features, rather than just making it a Moby Dick novel on CD.
So... to those of you who desired a book report, I'll talk to you next year (hopefully in January)

Baravian told me that it would be availble next week, which I'm skeptical, because it's not available until 2 months from now from Bently. Bugs auto said he would put me on the list until it's available in 2 months. I figure I wasn't going to put my order in until it is actually available.

If Bently is the ultimate source, it will be January (earliest) before the CD is available, per the Bently tech pubs editor.

Glad to see it's available for less $ at other retailers.

I did have poor luck a few years ago with a badly scanned BMW 7 series manual on CD. It was aftermarket, and about worthless.

I've used Porsche microfiche parts and service films for years. They're not as good as paper, but they're cheap!
