I travelled to Baltimore this past weekend. Stayed at a hotel called the Inn at the Colonade.
So, I pull into the hotel and what do I see? A beautiful black S8. I was humbled to say the least.
That night as my g/f and I pulled back into the hotel, I see the black S8 again and then a night blue '04 A8! Wow!!! Both owners at that time were getting into their cars. I wanted to converse with them (who do i go to first?) but I wasn't in my A8 at the time and felt it would be rude.
Next day, when the valet brought my car over, I see a dark blue A6 down the street coming towards the hotel. I first noticed the brushed aluminum mirrors. The car made a left and I saw the wheels, trunk spoiler and got a glimpse of the tailpipes. It was an RS6! Wow again!
Since when did Baltimore have so many wonderful Audis? I'm a Hopkins grad and when I was attending, there weren't any Audis other than my old Coupe Quattro. Times have changed... for the better!
BTW, with the Valentine One, I was able to rocket home from downtown baltimore to home (217 miles) in less than three hours and that included one stop for a full gas fill-up and one quickie restroom break. this car lives to cruise!
