Default A8 trani in limp mode ?coolant leak into trani cooler

I am the guy with the trani remanufactured at European transmission in Georgia that I installed in 2008. Ran great for 60,000 mi on it since installation, but now in limp mode. Went to check trani fluid level but forgot to start engine. Opened fill tube with trani at 42degrees C and lost at least a quart of fluid. Fluid looked black grey, but no odor. At first I though Gabor might be right: Coolant in trani raising level. However, I then remembered about starting the engine and running in park to test fluid level. Had only enough new fluid on hand to put an additional quart back in. Not enough to fill it though. Afterwards, on vagcom input rpm about 200rpm lower than engine rpm. Major slippage!! However, the trani was not full when tested. Engine coolant in reservoir has not dropped its level so I am hoping there is no trani cooler leak into the radiator as we discussed. Pressure tested the radiator at running temperature according to Bentley manual. Turned engine off and tested at 1 Bar (15 psi). In two minutes pressure dropped to 14.5psi without any external leaks. Did test outside in 25degree weather and wonder if drop could be the coolant cooling off and losing pressure. Hate to replace the radiator if there is no coolant leak into the trans, but it would be worse to replace the trani and have it ruined again by a leaking trani cooler in the radiator. Suggestions?
