I'm new to Audi... Am I better off buying a used 2006 A6 (80K mi) or a 2005 A8 (107k miles) There are the same price. Thanks

Whole lotta info missing from that question....if similar prices, which A6 and which A8?
A6 wagon, sedan, quattro, 3.2 or 4.2?
A8 SWB, L or W12?
Options on each...service records?

Besides all that, they are 2 completely different animals...no comparison...depends on what you're looking for and what you enjoy driving?

A8 is a much more refined, all aluminum space frame based, limited production and totally unique car...even among other Audi's.

You need to drive both and do much more research, before comparing the 2...one does not replace the other.
If you find these 2 even close to the same, then most any car of that size would do.
