About to hit 150,000 miles; anything in particular I should do to it? (besides trade for an S8)

I have had it since '03 and 112,000 and am pleased with how it's holding up. (though stones and parkinglot fools seem to have an odd atraction to the poor thing)
I am thinking trans service (it is behaving so it would be preventative) and maybe timing belt service along with the standard oil change; since neither tb or trans have been done since I gots it. Anything else to look for? AC is warm, but we are going into winter soon. Other than that it seems to be doing rather well.
Is it worth switching to synthetic at this high a mileage?
I have also been thinking about painting the lower trim and getting a spoiler to celebrate the milestone.

Mines hit 153K mi. earlier this month, I just had my fuel filter changed, immediately noticed some improvement in response to my gas pedal (virtually by tenths or hundredths of a second)... and so far about 2mpg better for mixed driving.
Like many others, I use Mobil 1 0W-40 fully synthetic (OAT)... definitely worthed the extra dozens of dollars especially in these upcoming winter months in your area (Vermont right?).

forgot to comment on the timing belt service... i've thought about doing it too, although i've heard others have had bad experience after changing TB in such high miles. anybody can weigh in?

Re: Bad experience if you don't change the TB at the intervals scheduled!
ok, point taken. speaking from a practical Audi ownership perspective, something that Audi claims doesn't really apply to reality e.g. Lifetime Automatic Transmission Fluid, transmission problems experienced by hundreds of D2 A8 owners, the myth about G12 coolants, etc...
OLMEC or anyone on this forum, could you guys list at what interval you change yours please? and roughly how much it costs?
some other people on this forum did theirs at ~105K... i wish i can do that myself to save $$$

105K for a Timing Belt is B.S.
The great State of California decreed that all cars sold after 1999 or so should not require any major maintenance work for the first 100,000 miles. Timing belts fell under this rule. What was a 90,000 mile interval became a 105,000 interval overnight. Same parts, same everything...actuaries and engineers cringing under desks.

I have heard many folks say a grand is a great price for the TB ... (as I cringe under my desk too)
But I guess it beats the price of an engine rebuild if I don't do it ...

That's me, "one hoopy frood"...
Though as I look at the folks around me on a daily basis, I am seriously doubtful about the title of "Worst Dressed Sentient Being in the Known Universe"
