AC Temp Display backlight out on passenger side

Gang,

I have a 1998 A8 and yesterday the backlight for the passenger side temp display went out. I looked at audipages to see if there was anything on it but I couldn't find it. Is this an easy replacement or fix and if so, does anyone have instructions? I do not have a Bentley as I have held off because I am thinking of getting a 2000 or 2001 A8L. Any help would be appreciated. I have searched the forum but was unable to find anything helpful. Have a great weekend.

As far as I know, the A/C temp control unit is an integrated unit. When...

...something goes, you just replace the whole thing at $500+ a pop... I might be wrong though..

Burned out bulb. I trust someone has the procedure for removing the climate control unit and accessing the bulbs. I don't have access to the procedure at this time.

Here's how you take out the climate control
