ACK ! coolant level/engine temp warning

Default ACK ! coolant level/engine temp warning
the warning light came on, pressed the check button and it told me to check the coolant level. The level looks fine, no codes on the ECUs- is something horrific around the corner ?

Maybe just the pressure valve?

Default Maybe, wee little bugger next to
the (redunant)clock setting buttons, right below the temp gauge and above the "eject" and "rocket launcher" buttons

Default Don't think so, it's a mechanical (pressure) test to see if it works ok.
Could also be a faulty temp sensor, that does happen more often, but that should give a fault code IMHO...
