Well thank you Paul for pointing me in the right direction. My DB25 jumpers were correct BUT I reversed orange-green and black-green/white at the rj45. Lucky I did not mix it with a power line!!

One other thing. I read that the stock mic has 12 volts running to it (via audi phone brain box). Could it be feasible to jump my 12 volt line to a pod and then send that regulated voltage to the stock mic. Then adjust the pod for a perfect level??

So the "PHONE" text on the radio is now gone but it will not come back. Radio works. Phone dials "hands-free" and connects, but no sound through speakers and radio does not read "PHONE" anymore. Think I fried the box by having the two leads reversed??
