HEllo, 98 A8 4.2, I'm looking to replace the bose Concert unit with a pioneer Din Nav unit. Sound Gate makes a product that will allow the aftermarket deck push the bose amps and drivers, however Id like to get a factory/aftermarket plug that will alow me to hook and unhook without cutting any wires on the car side, Is there anything like this avalible.

If you are going to bypass the factory system, why not just run new wires? Also I wouldn't recomend using the factory speakers with an aftermarket amp. The wiring harness you are looking for is from Metra # 70-1784.

Well this unit would alow the deck to send signal through the preouts to the stock bose amps, which would save me the trouble of removing all amps and bose speakers.
Thanks for the part number

You may want to have a noise isolation transformer or a ground loop isolator handy as well. When you install the new unit you may get a "Pop" when the car is started or turned off or when the radio goes to 0 volume or mute.
